Tasha Poduska joined the Bulldog staff as an assistant volleyball coach in the fall of 2004. Working primarily with the setters, she brings great enthusiasm and knowledge to the program.
Poduska gained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, and graduated as a member of the Dean’s List. She competed in volleyball for the Nanooks during her college career. This Second Team All-Conference performer currently holds the school’s record for career assists. Following graduation, she moved onto a professional volleyball career in Khabarovsk, Russia, from 1992 to 1994, where she played for the Amur Tigers. She remained in Russia for a few years and became fluent in the language.
This native of Orem, Utah, also worked as a manager for Fortune 500 companies from 2000 to 2003. She earned her Series 6, 26, and health insurance licenses. When not coaching volleyball, she works as a business developer for SoCal Athletics.
In her spare time, Poduska enjoys working with wood, skiing, doing household projects, and playing with her dogs, Marley, Ziggy, E.V. and Gil.
