Proudian Interdisciplinary Honors Studies

About the Program

The Proudian Program is designed for up to twelve talented students in each graduating class who wish to explore interdisciplinary learning.

The program offers students three special seminars on interdisciplinary topics. Two of these occur in the sophomore year (Spring and May Term), and one in the senior year (Fall).

These courses frame two individualized junior-year options: study abroad or, in special cases, an internship in a profession or business. A senior thesis is required of each scholar.

The program assumes the value–indeed the necessity–of interdisciplinary inquiry in the twenty-first century. More...
