Psychology

The bachelor of arts in psychology prepares students for graduate study and future careers in psychology. It also provides training useful to other professions. Students come to understand the processes of behavior, both in themselves and others.

They also learn to read and evaluate critically the ever-increasing volume of popular and technical literature that employs the language and concepts of psychology, and they practice the methods of research used in the study of human behavior.

A capstone project, combining research and an applied field placement, is presented to department faculty.
