"The Global Business Program here is absolutely wonderful. We're lucky here. Our professors have come from actual professions and actual experiences, and we have professors who have worked out in the real word, and who have seen these problems, right up close.
"They're able to share that with us, and it's very stimulating because were learning from experience and we're learning from example instead of simply just from the books.
"Globalization is important, especially for our generation, because we're going to be facing new business responsibilities--so far as free trade and how we're going to further our relationships with other countries.
"Professor Jack Osborne, who is a former CEO, has come here with a lot of experience in business in the international world. He lived in Japan, worked in Japan. And so, he's able to tell us first-hand what's it like to manage a company, and what's it like in the real world with deadlines, and having to answer to someone, and organizational theory and things like that." |
