Transcript of the video interview:

"What the liberal arts means to me, is pretty much getting as broad of an education as you possibility can, and that means taking math, taking science, taking English, taking art--anything--getting your hands in anything you possibility can.

"I think Redlands really embraces that. I think we're turning out students who have had experiences in all different fields and they're not too specialized, and I think that's one of the things that makes us unique. We have the freedom to take all kinds of different classes, so I'm not just bound to global business classes or classes on that track.

"I was just taking a French poetry class. I've taken poetry and painting; I've taken poetry of the Avant-Guard--pretty much anything you want you can get your hands on here. I was able to do university choir, and I come from--another side of the family are musicians--so I was able to take up chorus, and I also did a small blended vocal jazz group. So yes, it was very fun; it was great. It was student run, so it was wonderful, and we got to do a little performance at the end."
