Faculty Advisement
When you’re accepted to a program, a faculty advisor will assist you in developing your program so that it meets both state and university requirements. The faculty director of the program approves each student’s course of study.

Research Tools—On Campus & Off
The Armacost Library offers a full range of services for students studying on campus or online. Remote services include full-text article databases, book and article delivery services, book borrowing privileges at other libraries, interlibrary loan of articles, online research tutorials, a toll-free help number, and an online form for requesting materials and help. An Educational Home
The School of Education’s home on campus is the newly renovated University Hall North, which offers smart classrooms, computer resources and a student lounge—which is much used in the evenings.  All faculty offices, as well as the administrative and student services offices, are in this building. University Hall North is a welcoming place where you’ll find colleagues, faculty, and staff happy to answer questions, help out or just hang out over coffee.

Online Course Information
As a student at the school, you’ll have access to Blackboard, an online resource for course syllabi, texts and chatrooms—which means you can get information 24/7, within the parameters of your busy schedule. More about online services ...

Computer Labs
The School of Education’s EdTech Center and Instructional Resource Room offer high-end graphics computers, scanners, storage devices, printers, and both PC and Macintosh access for students. Most classrooms have projection equipment that enables faculty and students to use their laptops for project presentations.

Computer Purchases
As a student, you may buy computers, hardware, software and accessories at discounted prices using the university’s Computer Equipment Purchase Program. Please go to my.redlands.edu and select the Students tab for more information.

Career Help
Besides the university’s top-notch Office of Career Development, students are invited to numerous education and teacher recruitment activities sponsored by area school districts and universities. More ...
