The commencement ceremony will be held in our historic Alumni-Greek
Theater, an open-air amphitheater located at the southern portion of our
campus.

Although a picturesque site for the ceremony, the rustic setting of
the Alumni-Greek Theater may pose certain challenges to our guests who
have difficulty walking or negotiating uneven steps within the theater.

The class rings will be displayed in the Bookstore. Class rings may also be viewed on the following Web site:   www.balfourcollege.com.
The Commencement Ceremony will take place outside in the Greek Theatre at the University of Redlands.  It is suggested that comfortable shoes be worn, as graduates stand on the grass in the lineup area and must walk across many uneven steps into the Greek Theatre.

A professional flower company will be on campus before the ceremony. Your family and friends can commemorate this special occasion with a bouquet of flowers or a lei.

A percentage of the profit will be returned to the university.

Come early if you wish to have individual cap and gown portraits, small groups of graduates and/or family pictures taken. Come to the Hunsaker Center second Floor, Bulldog Room, 2–4 p.m. The professional photographer will also be at the commencement ceremony.

Each student will receive proofs and order forms directly from Chappell within five to seven days after the ceremony. You may place orders or obtain answers to questions at www.gradimages.com or call (800) 424-3686.

A percentage of the profit will be returned to the university.

Participants should assemble on the lawn area east of Peppers Art Center at 4 p.m. Please be prompt!

You will receive the Commencement Program as you leave the lineup area. Please tell your family and friends that you do not march in the order listed in the program. You will march by degree and region.

Items should be claimed from or turned into the Registrar’s Office on the main floor of the Administration Building after the ceremony.
This takes place during the Commencement Ceremony. Students carry the hood over their right arm as they walk. Once on stage, a faculty from the appropriate degree will take the hood and place it over the head and around the shoulders as an honorary symbol of completion of the master’s degree.

The name placement card displays your name, degree and the numerical order in which you will process. This card is handed to a reader who will announce your name as you start across the stage.

Cards must be picked up between 2:30 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. on the patio of the Hunsaker University Center. Cards not picked up at Hunsaker will be available by the lineup area after 4 p.m. You must pick up your own card prior to the processional lineup.
