Honors Convocation
10 a.m., Memorial Chapel
The Honors Convocation recognizes those students, faculty, staff and administrators who have risen to the top in their areas of specialty. From scholar-athletes and student leaders to outstanding faculty and administrators, all of today’s honorees have become the “best of the best” in our university community.

Baccalaureate
5 p.m., Memorial Chapel
Baccalaureate is an ecumenical observance that celebrates commencement. Graduating seniors are required to wear cap and gown. Family and friends should be seated in the chapel by 4:45 p.m. Seating is limited, and not reserved, so we suggest you arrive early.

Senior Dinner
6 p.m., Peppers Art Gallery, Lawn area, $20 per person
This is a festive opportunity for the graduates to gather and celebrate their accomplishments together with family, friends and classmates. Due to limited seating, graduates and their families may be required to share a table. Reservations may be made online or by calling (909) 748-8881. R.S.V.P.s are due by Friday, May 9.

Student of Color Recognition Ceremony
8 p.m., Memorial Chapel
The Student of Color Recognition Ceremony provides the opportunity for graduates of color to celebrate in a more intimate setting. Culturally specific stoles are presented to each graduate, typically by members of their immediate families who have the opportunity to say a few words about their graduate.

Commencement Ceremonies

College of Arts and Science
9 a.m., Alumni-Greek Theatre
The theatre has no covering and minimal shade. Seating is limited
and not reserved; we recommend that you arrive early.

Reception
Hunsaker University Center, immediately following
College of Arts and Science Commencement until 12:30 p.m.

This is an opportunity to meet University President Dr. Stuart Dorsey,
faculty and students. Shuttle service is NOT available to or from the
Hunsaker reception area. The walk from the Greek Theatre to Hunsaker is
quite a distance, as well as uphill. Please consider this when attending the
reception with someone who has difficulty walking a distance or is in need
of assistance. Sorry, no pets allowed.

Johnston
1 p.m., Bekins Lawn
Johnston graduates may elect to walk in the morning as well as at the Johnston-specific Commencement. Please consult with your student about his or her plans.
