Students of studio art gain much from first-hand knowledge of the creative process. Thus, students pursuing the bachelor of arts in studio art complete classes that provide experience in studio, graphic, and conceptual dimensions of art.
The art program is housed in the Peppers Art Center, which includes classrooms, offices, studios and gallery space.
The university is currently constructing a new 25,000 square foot state of the art building. the new facility is slated to open during the 2009-10 academic year.
