Mission Statement The University of Redlands Outdoor Programs (OP) strives to help students make meaningful connections to the natural world. We teach the skills of wilderness leadership through outdoor activities, but use these experiences as a tool for students to learn about themselves and others. It is our hope that our students will develop a lifelong commitment to healthy outdoor pursuits and environmental conservation.
OP promotes "Leave No Trace" environmental ethics in all we do. We teach our students to enjoy outdoor recreation responsibly, to ensure that future generations will continue to be able to do so.
Outdoor Programs also sponsors a variety of on-campus workshops, guest speakers and programs. Check the Bullsheet, and your e-mail, for updated information on these events. |
