8-time SCIAC Champions (1967, 2001-2007) 2001 NCAA Division III National Finalist
Program Overview
The University of Redlands men’s soccer program is built upon determination, competition and integrity. These three ingredients have been the formula for success as the Bulldogs have become a nationally-recognized Division III men’s soccer program. The team philosophy is based on working together with constant movement off the ball. The size of the pitch at Farquhar Field allows the Bulldogs to play to their strength as a possession-style team. Redlands prides itself on playing for each other and constantly working hard as a team, allowing creativity on offense while playing with an aggressive and balanced defense.
Redlands made school history on October 16, 2000, by achieving a #22 national ranking in Division III men's soccer, which was the best at the time. Since then, the Bulldogs have reached as high as #1 in the nation according to the NSCAA, and most recently finished the 2006 season ranked #17. The Bulldogs made it all the way to the NCAA Division III National Championship game in 2001 and strive to return every year. Redlands men’s soccer has won six consecutive SCIAC titles from 2001-2006. In addition, the team has advanced to the playoffs every year since 2001. |
