Support Redlands

President's Circle Leadership Committee

Memorial Chapel at night

The President's Circle Leadership Committee was formed in 2005 to personally reach out to the university’s annual leadership supporters to discuss philanthropy and renew their support. We do this because we believe that the personal touch still matters to our alumni, parents and friends, as it does our students.

The committee is composed of alumni and parent volunteers, who are also President's Circle level donors. President's Circle members provide more than 80% of the private current use support Redlands depends on each year. The combined impact of these gifts is profound – helping us sustain and enhance the Redlands experience. Since its inception, the volunteers of the President's Circle Leadership Committee have raised more than $1,175,000 to support the University of Redlands. They help ensure that every deserving student has access to a life-enriching Redlands education.

Volunteer Duties:

  1. Believe in the importance of the University of Redlands mission and be willing to demonstrate that support through your own personal philanthropy at the leadership level ($1,000 or more annually) and by encouraging others to join you as a member of the President's Circle.
  2. Participate in one campaign lasting approximately four weeks and beginning with a kickoff meeting.
  3. Commit to contacting 10 – 15 individuals during the annual campaign to thank alumni and parents for their support, ask for their renewed gift, and when appropriate, upgrade their support.
  4. Work with the Development team as needed to identify and recruit new members of the President's Circle Leadership Committee and potential new leadership donors.
