Senior Gift Campaign
This year, the class of 2014 has set a goal of $5,000 for the Senior Gift Campaign. We're encouraging everyone to make a gift to Community Service Learning (CSL). Though, as a donor, it is your prerogative to give where you'd like. As long as you participate, you are making an impact!
From sustainability initiatives to childrens programs and service clubs, CSL reaches beyond the borders of our campus to make a tangible impact in the lives of so many. As an example, here is what $5,000 can do:
- Provide tutoring and resources for students in Jasper's Corner
- Help provide weekly family dinners for CHAMPs
- Provide project supplies for Service Days, alleviating a financial hardship for other organizations
- Provide clean-up, planting, and habitat-restore projects onm campus and in the community
Senior Gift Dedications
To further the impact of your gift, you can dedicate your gift to someone (a friend, professor, family member) or a club or department on campus. An Honor Roll of seniors who have contributed will be published on this page as well as in SLIC. Once you make a gift, a note will be sent to the person you are honoring so they are made aware. Keep an eye out for updates as the year goes on!
#GivingTuesday is a movement to create a national day of giving to kick-off the giving season on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday.
Whether you give $20.14 or $10, you can be part of this national day of philanthropy by making a gift online. Participating in #GivingTuesday would be counted as your senior gift.
