What is Tag Week?

Tag Week aims to educate the campus community on the importance and impact of philanthropy on this campus. Redlands has literally been built because of giving.

Did you know that the University of Redlands is a non-profit? Did you know that it requires the philanthropic support of others to maintain and further the unique education and opportunities offered to you?

Thousands of donors ensure that students can continue to receive the quintessential Redlands education. They do so by giving to capital projects, creating endowments, and supporting the Redlands Fund.

The Redlands Fund supports many things, some of which include scholarships, funding for student leadership and involvement opportunities, and academic departments.

Did you know…

  • Tuition covers approximately 70% of the cost of educating students. Private giving makes up the rest of that!
  • Annual gifts to Redlands provide continuing support year after year for students, operations, and academic programs.
  • Donors to the Redlands Fund directly invest in students by helping provide more than 85% of current students with scholarships and grants.
