AMERYKA

Written and directed by Nancy Keystone
created in collaboration with Critical Mass Performance Group

Weaving physical spectacle, text, music and film into a non-linear narrative, Ameryka illuminates events through provocative juxtapositions and boundary-pushing theatrical forms. A diverse cast plays multiple roles, inhabiting constantly shifting time-spaces and modes of reality, exploding facts of history in order to mine emotional and poetic events-ultimately revealing the striving, beating human heart that propels every nation towards the realization of its more perfect union.
