Research and Areas of Expertise

Dr. Osborn's research focus involves children with language and learning problems. Her current research interests include evaluating the effectiveness of providing oral narrative intervention to school-age children to children at risk for language-learning problems. Dr. Osborn has presented her research at national conferences including the Symposium for Research in Child Language Disorders and the American Speech-Language Hearing Association Convention.

Professional Background

Dr. Osborn is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist. She has worked in the public schools as well as a hospital setting. Currently, she supervises a clinical intervention program with pre-school and school-age populations at risk for language and learning problems.
