The Banta Center sponsors two grant programs designed to support the research and teaching efforts of University of Redlands faculty, administration, and academic support staff.
The Banta Ethics Research Grants fund faculty engaged in scholarly work that addresses the role of ethical values in social life, broadly construed. Proposals can include, but are not limited to, the study of religion, business, medicine, science, economics, culture, public policy, law, or government. Proposals may take up theoretical or applied themes and can incorporate a wide range of different methodologies, so long as they clearly identify the ethical import and significance of the research.
Submitting a proposal
Electronically submit a brief proposal for funding that includes your name, department, summary of proposed research, methods, outcomes, and budget to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please enter"Research Grant" in the subject line. Proposals are considered on an ongoing basis.
