Intramural Sports

Registration for Intramurals Sports has moved online.

INTRAMURAL SPORTS aims to provide recreational experiences that promote personal wellness and an inclusive community that is accessible to all students.  In order to promote availability to a diverse student population, we provide a variety of traditional and non-traditional sports throughout the year, offered weeknights in the evenings.

Sports Offered

Intramural Sports currently offers beach volleyball, flag football, kickball, soccer, basketball, and life-jacket water polo throughout the year.  All sports are free to University students and employees and are offered Monday through Thursday after 4:00pm allowing most students to participate without interfering with academic courses. Leagues vary from entry level beginner leagues to advanced to encourage accessibility to all.

Structure & Facilities

Intramural sports also employs up to 20 student-workers per semester. Most roles consist of refereeing and score keeping, with opportunity to advance into higher-level leadership focused positions. The recreation department provides training opportunities to these student-workers, focused on topics of leadership, conflict resolution and sport-specific knowledge.  In addition to beach volleyball and outdoor basketball courts, Intramurals shares a number of athletic facilities on campus.
