Policies & Regulations

At Redlands we are committed to work with Greek organizations to create a campus-wide culture of health, responsibility and tolerance.

A number of policies, including a ban on hazing, are in place to help ensure that students behave in ways that are respectful and do not endanger the physical or emotional health of other students.

All fraternities and sororities operate chapter houses on campus, providing members with the opportunity for small-group living and socialization. Please review the Organizational Supplemental Handbook on the Organizational Housing page with any questions or concerns about our houses.


There are more than 1,700 trees on the University of Redlands campus.

In April 2010, it was designated a Tree Campus USA by the Arbor Day Foundation. Redlands is among just three other colleges or universities in California to receive this designation.
