Welcome to the University of Redlands! It is a pleasure for us to extend a word of welcome to you on behalf of everyone at the University. All of us are committed to making this one of the best experiences of your life. We urge you to make the most of the numerous opportunities Redlands offers.
As part of your enrollment to the University, all new first year students are required to submit important documents prior to attending orientation week. A copy of the new student checklist was included in your deposit confirmation letter for your reference. If you are an entering freshman, one of the first items you will be required to submit is the New Student Housing Intention and First Year Seminar forms. They are both due on Friday, May 12. Please review the New Freshman Checklist to see all items required for submission. If you are an entering transfer student, please review the New Transfer Student Checklist as dates and requirements may differ.
You will need your University email and password information to proceed with most items on the checklist. This information was sent to you along with your deposit confirmation letter.
In addition, we invite you to visit us on Saturday, July 8 for Redlands Connections Day. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to make connections with your peers and current students and to learn more about academics, resources and campus life prior to New Student Orientation. All new students are required to attend New Student Orientation which begins on Wednesday, August 30th through Monday, September 4th. During New Student Orientation you will meet with your academic advisor and register for classes. Your first day of classes will follow on Tuesday, September 5th. More information about these upcoming events can be found in the online New Student Checklist.
We all strive every day to help make this an even better place. For those of us who work here, this means putting you, the student, first in everything we do. For you as a student, we hope it means an uncompromising commitment to excellence in all you do. Certainly, being a solid scholar is first. Redlands provides a unique opportunity for you to develop a lifelong passion for learning. Many of you will contribute your time and talent by being involved in fine arts, community service, organizations, athletics, and many other important activities. This makes for a very exciting campus. We look forward to you becoming a “Bulldog for Life”.
