Grossmont is home to a close-knit community of 122 female students. Opened in 1925, the building features resident rooms, a study room, community kitchen, laundry facility, and large lobby lounge space with air-conditioning. Grossmont has two room style choices including double and triple rooms. The double rooms are located in the center of each floor with hallway bathrooms, while the larger, corner rooms are suites which share a bathroom between two, triple-occupancy rooms. The average size room in Grossmont is 13’ by 16’.
Grossmont Hall's Residence Life staff is committed to providing a wide range of program opportunities for residents to get involved with, planning including their hall traditions programs such as LUNAFEST, the Women’s Film Festival in conjunction with the Women’s Center and the Women’s and Gender Studies Department, and Snow Ball, a winter themed semi-formal dance for residents and a guest of their choice.
