Grossmont is home to a close-knit community of 122 female students. Opened in 1925, the building features resident rooms, a study room, community kitchen, laundry facility, and large lobby lounge space. Although the community is not air conditioned, there is air conditioning in the main floor lobby and the hall does have heating. Grossmont has two room style choices including double and triple rooms. The double rooms are located in the center of each floor with hallway bathrooms, while the larger, corner rooms are suites which share a bathroom between two, triple-occupancy rooms.
The Residence Life and Housing staff in this community is committed to providing a wide range of program opportunities for residents to get involved with including their hall traditions program a winter themed semi-formal dance called Snowball for residents and a guest of their choice.
