The Residence Life and Housing Mission Statement is "Building Lasting Communities of Learning," and Leslie is excited to support this mission every day in her work at the University.

Leslie is in her seventh year at the University of Redlands, providing oversight for housing assignments, programming, staff supervision, departmental assessment, and training for the student and professional staff. Leslie completed the University of Redlands’ doctoral program in Leadership for Educational Justice in 2014.

Leslie obtained an MSEd in counseling from Youngstown State University and a BS in psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. She has overseen Anderson, Brockton, East, Merriam, North, Williams, Grossmont, and Fairmont in her time as an area director and assistant director at the University of Redlands, and she is honored to have the responsibility of visioning and supervision of the Residence Life and Housing Department.

There are more than 1,700 trees on the University of Redlands campus.

In April 2010, it was designated a Tree Campus USA by the Arbor Day Foundation. Redlands is among just three other colleges or universities in California to receive this designation.
