Trainings & Retreats

CDI facilitates diversity and social justice trainings and retreats for many campus constituents including residence life staff, orientation mentors, first-year students and more. We also serve as a resource for U of R community members who are interested in diversity programs for their halls, classes and student organizations.

The professional staff at CDI are nationally recognized as social justice program facilitators and are available to meet your group’s specific needs. We approach the work with the belief that any issue of social justice must be understood as one aspect of a larger holistic sense of self. The trainings and retreats reflect this philosophy through emphasis on intersections and understanding privilege.

There are more than 1,700 trees on the University of Redlands campus.

In April 2010, it was designated a Tree Campus USA by the Arbor Day Foundation. Redlands is among just three other colleges or universities in California to receive this designation.
