Diagnostic Testing for Learning Disabilities

Students who suspect that they may have learning disabilities or an attentional disorder should schedule an appointment to discuss the issue with Amy Wilms, Assistant Dean of Academics and Student Life. The number to call to schedule an appointment is 909-748-8069.

Testing can be arranged through the Disability Services Office in Student Development. The University of Redlands has developed relationships with local psychologists qualified to assess learning disabilities, and once the student has met with Disability Services, a referral form will be provided to the student. The student must contact the psychologist to set up an appointment for testing and needs to sign a release to allow the psychologist to forward the psychological evaluation to the Disability Services Office.

Please provide the Quality Disability Documentation guidelines to the psychologist who will conduct the testing.

Once the testing is completed and the University has received the results, the student is encouraged to meet with Amy Wilms to go over this information in more detail and discuss possible academic accommodations.

University of Redlands students contribute more than 100,000 hours of community service annually.
