Gaby Liera, Program Assistant in the Office for International Students and Scholars

Gaby was born and raised in southern California in a town called Claremont. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology at UC San Diego in 2013. During her time as an undergrad, she was actively involved with the international student community. Gaby lived in a multicultural housing unit called International House and was an orientation leader for International Students. She also studied abroad in Dublin, Ireland for a year, allowing her to travel throughout Europe. During this exchange, she interned in University College Dublin’s International Office. These experiences open her eyes to the benefits of cross-cultural exchanges and encourages all students to visit her office to learn about getting involved with the international community on campus.
