Elizabeth Meade, a certified family nurse practitioner, has worked in the medical profession for seven years, three as an NP in California. She grew up in Virginia, where she volunteered from an early age at a women's health center. After graduating cum laude with an English degree from Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts, she earned a bachelor's degree in nursing at the University of Virginia. She completed her MSN degree at Columbia University while working at Weill Cornell-New York Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan. As an NP, Elizabeth has extensive experience in primary care and internal medicine with patients of all ages. She is committed to developing proactive measures to promote wellness and help students manage and improve their health.

Kim Haugh is also a native Californian who was born and raised in the Inland Empire. She graduated from San Bernardino Valley College in 1994 with an associate of science degree in nursing. Prior to entering college health, Kim was employed by Loma Linda University from 1997 to 2002 as a staff nurse in orthopedics, urology, and the center for joint replacement. In 2002, Kim made the move to college health as a nurse for the University of California Riverside Campus Health Center. In August 2005, Kim joined the University of Redlands Student Health Center Staff as the “can do” triage/referral specialist/back office nurse, which she truly relishes.

As a certified medical assistant, Patty Nowatnick had 13 years of experience in OB/GYN and 10 years in Family Practice prior to joining the University of Redlands. Patty has been your point of contact at the Student Health Center since August 2002, a role she cherishes as she loves caring for college age patients. Whether by phone or in person, Patty generally schedules all appointments and keeps the Student Health Center running smoothly by managing the front office. Patty can assist with back office needs, including immunizations, TB screening, pregnancy tests, wound care, and vital signs. Patty was recently honored with the University of Redlands 2009 President’s Award for exemplary employee service.
