The Centers

Group of friends

Campus Diversity and Inclusion consists of the Multicultural Center, Women’s Center and Pride Center along with International Student Services. These three centers operate as student-centered spaces and as loci for student-driven programming. Students also use the Centers for any and all of the following:

  • Meeting people
  • Finding out more information about campus resources
  • Studying
  • A safe space to relax and hang out
  • Getting assistance with research on diversity topics
  • Getting information about a wide variety of clubs and organizations and discussing diversity issues in an informal setting
  • Presenting ideas for programs

Quiet the Mind

The University’s Meditation Room opened in 2007 and is one of the first “contemplative classroom” spaces in the country.
