Jasper's Corner Homework Club
Jasper's Corner Homework Club
Located on the third floor of Armacost Library, Jasper's Corner Homework Club was established at the University in 2003. After numerous requests from community parents, the University decided to meet a need in the community for assistance with homework, class projects, and reading.
Students at the University who are math or education majors, or who just like to work with children, can become a "study buddy." Study buddies must submit to a background check by the Redlands Police Department and are trained by local professionals in tutoring. Being a Jasper's Corner "study buddy" is a very popular job on campus.
The University is pleased to offer homework assistance to the local community free of charge. The response from parents and students has been overwhelmingly positive. If you are interested, please contact the Office of Community Service Learning at (909) 748-8288.
