The 2013-2014 CA Recruitment Timeline

  • Monday, November 19 - Applications available.
  • Monday, January 14 from 4-6:30pm - CA Recruitment Kickoff Event - Gregory 161
    • Learn more about the position.
    • Hear from professionals who use the skills they developed as Community Assistants in their current careers.
    • Practice for the interview process by participating in a group activity and exploring possible interview questions.
    • Play the part of a CA in a Behind Closed Doors simulation used in CA Training.
  • Week of January 28 - CA Information Sessions and Events take place in the residence halls. Check with your hall staff for details about the one for your community.
  • Friday, February 8 @ 3:00pm
    • Applications are due to the Office of Student Life or via email to Leslie Krafft. 
    • Sign-Up list available for Individual Interview time slots
  • Tuesday, February 12 @ 6:30pm - CA Candidate Social - a required pre-interview opportunity to get to know current staff members, ask questions, and interact with the professionals from Residence Life and Housing.
  • Wednesday, February 13 @ 5:00pm - All Reference Letters must be received by Student Life or email.
  • Saturday, February 16, 8am-5pm - CA Super Saturday
    • Group Interviews for all candidates take place in the morning.
    • Individual Interviews will be scheduled in 20-30 minute blocks in the afternoon and throughout the previous week.
  • Wednesday, February 20 - Notification Letters will be available in Student Life or via email.
