Erin Borders

Portrait of Erin Borders

My name is Erin Borders and I am a sophomore from Orange County, California. I am double majoring in Environmental Studies and Spanish with a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies.

I am an “all centers” intern, which means I work in the Multicultural Center, Women’s Center, as well as the Pride Center.

In these centers, I facilitate both “woman talks” and “queer talks.” I also lead tours and Q+A sessions through “I’m Going to College.” This year I am hoping to not only assist the production of our annual Vagina Monologues, but also participate. Another goal I have is to help our newest program “Creating a Passion for Learning” flourish as we inform Native American students about the U of R and its resources. Also, as the Vice President of the club PRIDE alliance, I hope to unite and work together with the pride center to make the University of Redlands an even safer space for all LGBTQ students and faculty.
