Judicial Chair, Ronald Mak

Ronald MakJudicial Chair
Government and Economics

Ronald Mak is a junior from Arcadia, California double majoring in Government and Economics. The responsibilities of the judicial branch of ASUR include interpreting and applying the laws of student government through the lens of the ASUR Constitution. The judicial branch consists of eight members in the council along with the Judicial Chair: together, they comprise the Judicial Council. This year, the Judicial Council’s major project involves reviewing the entire constitution and adjudicating the diverse issues that encompass student government. This fall, the Judicial Council is looking for a group of dedicated and fair-minded individuals able to think on their feet, rationalize open-mindedly, engage in discussion, and are passionate about student government. Ronald’s goals for next year consist of communicating to the campus community the accessibility and the amount of resources ASUR has to offer to the student body. Feel free to email with any questions or concerns. Och Tamale!

There are more than 1,700 trees on the University of Redlands campus.

In April 2010, it was designated a Tree Campus USA by the Arbor Day Foundation. Redlands is among just three other colleges or universities in California to receive this designation.
