Hi friends! My name is Luan Nguyen-Tran. As the Executive Director of Convocations and Lectures, I am responsible for chairing a committee that brings dynamic speakers to campus. My goals this year are to continue co-sponsorship with various clubs, organizations, and academic departments as well as increase the quantity of attendance at convocations and lectures while still maintaining the quality of such events. Accordingly, there will be a bi-annual survey out to get input for students and faculty about speaker topics and ideas. If you have any questions, ideas, or are interested in joining the Convocations and Lectures Committee please email me. I am looking forward to a fantastic year serving on ASUR Cabinet.

In April 2010, it was designated a Tree Campus USA by the Arbor Day Foundation. Redlands is among just three other colleges or universities in California to receive this designation.
