I’m Shaelyn Blaney and I am a Visual Media Studies major from Orange County, California. The Club Advisory Board (CAB) is a committee of liaisons that every student looks to for advice and help of any type for your club! We have a diverse collection of clubs that has a place for any interest you might have. CAB meets weekly on Tuesdays at 7pm to oversee a variety of different organizations by allocating money and planning events that encourage students to get involved. In addition to that, anyone who is interested in establishing a new club to the U of R, must meet with CAB for approval. CAB is dedicated to strengthening our university’s leadership skills and sense of community. Once a month, CAB hosts workshops to help build management skills and provide essential tips for a successful club. These workshops are fun and we always offer opportunities to win money for your club budgets. Some events that CAB is responsible for putting on school wide events such as the involvement fairs, the Keli’ ikoa leadership conferences, and CAB awards. If you are looking for advice on running your organization, please email me at Go Bulldogs!
