Students concerned about human rights abuses around the world can unite with other students with similar concerns as part of the University’s chapter of Amnesty International.
The chapter is part of the worldwide organization, which was established in part to work to free prisoners of conscience—people who have been imprisoned for their political or religious beliefs or way of life.
Students participate in a variety of events designed to combat injustice and to increase campus and community awareness of specific civil rights issues.
