Professional Background:
Andrew has spent the last six years working in the Outdoor Education Industry. He graduated in 2006 with a degree in Biology and Exercise Science, but began pursuing a career as an outdoor educator the following winter with the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS). After completing his NOLS semester in the desert southwest, he went on to run the Adventure Department of a summer camp in southern New England, where he originally grew up. After spending the winter living and working in Europe, he began working for a teen adventure company, leading trips throughout Alaska, Costa Rica, and Belize. In the winter of 2009, he started working and studying at the University of Redlands as the Graduate Management Intern for Outdoor Programs and Intramural Sports. During that time he helped develop and run the Intramural Program on campus, while leading trips to places like Nepal, South Africa, and Namibia. In July of 2011, he was hired as the Director of Outdoor Programs and Intramurals, and is currently looking forward to continuing the tradition of providing quality outdoor and intramural opportunities for students on campus.

The Sustainable University of Redlands Farm (SURF) is a natural farm in its beginning stages, but already grows and sells fresh vegetables to Bon Appetit, the food management company on campus.
