It is a pleasure for us to extend a word of welcome to you on behalf of everyone at the University of Redlands. You have chosen to join a community dedicated to supporting you as you realize your potential, pursue your passion and make memories.
We look forward to seeing you on campus for New Student Orientation which will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2018. This day long program that includes meeting other incoming students, speaking with your advisor and registering for classes will begin at 9:30 am. In addition to being advised and class registration, you will have the opportunity to connect with faculty, administrators and staff, and to learn about the resources available to support you throughout your academic journey. A more detailed program schedule will be available online by December 15. Do note the spring semester will begin on Monday, January 8, 2018 so if you will be living on-campus you will move in on January 7 as well.
To be sure all needed paperwork and information is received and recorded prior to the start of the new semester, we ask that you review the New Student Checklist. Be aware that you must complete all of the items outlined. Failure to do so may impact your ability to join our community in January. You will need your University login information you received with your Welcome letter in order to complete many of the required forms and to access the Portal.
We strive every day to make University of Redlands a great place to live and learn. This means doing all that we can to put you, the student, first. What we hope we receive in return is your uncompromising commitment to learning, not just within the geographical confines of a classroom, but across the varied landscape of the student experience that is unique to the University of Redlands. What club will you join? What theatre production will you attend? What alternative point of view will you consider and debate? What community will you serve? Whose life will you impact, besides our own, in profound and enriching ways?
We welcome you to the University of Redlands. We are glad you are becoming a “Bulldog for Life.”
