Subject: Safety Bulletin - Recent Assault in Downtown Redlands
During the early morning hours of Wednesday, September 10, 2014, three students from the University of Redlands were confronted by an unidentified male and female while they were walking in the area of Orange Street and State Street in downtown Redlands. During that confrontation, the two unidentified persons began physically assaulting one of the three students and stole her cell phone before fleeing the area. The Redlands Police Department responded to the incident location; however they were unable to locate the individuals responsible for the assault. While none of the three University students were able to provide significant details on the physical description of either suspect, the Redlands Police Department is continuing their efforts to identify and apprehend those responsible for the assault.
