Scheduling Your Visit

Students on the Quad

The best way to get to know Redlands is to visit and see the campus for yourself. You will find a thriving community rich in opportunities for meaningful interaction, stimulating involvement and lasting friendships. We are pleased to offer a variety of visit opportunities, from daily tours to overnight visits, and our Visit Coordinator is available to help you personalize your experience.

While we can accommodate your visit on almost any weekday, we highly recommend pre-scheduling interview appointments and campus tours. Because we don't have a summer session at Redlands, the campus is relatively quiet from late May to late August. However, we're happy to meet with you during the summer and/or arrange a tour.

A day visit can include visiting a class, meeting with a professor and/or coach as well as a campus tour and an appointment with an admissions counselor.   An overnight visit can include all the above in addition to an overnight stay. We will work hard to make the requested appointments and arrangements, however please understand that sometimes scheduling conflicts occur.

Generally, we need three weeks' notice to help you schedule your visit. Another great resource for planning your visit is our publications page.

How to Dress

Redlands is a relaxed and informal place, so we recommend you dress casually for your visit. In the winter months it can get chilly at night (but rarely below 40 degrees), so bring a light jacket if you’re planning to visit during the evening. Tropical storms occasionally blow through in the winter as well, so a raincoat or umbrella may come in handy December through February. Spring, summer and fall temperatures range from mild to hot, ideal weather for shorts and light clothes.
