Application Requirements

  1. Completed application
  2. Evidence of a Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university
  3. Evidence of a 3.0 undergraduate GPA or an approved petition
  4. Evidence of passing CBEST and Initiation of Certificate of Clearance (for Masters in School Counseling)
  5. One (1) official transcript issued by the Registrar of each institution attended, sent directly to the School of Education
  6. Two (2) letters' of recommendation from professionals who know the applicant's work
  7. 500 word essay describing personal experience and interests in relationship to the degree program
  8. Evidence of a California teacher credential or basic service credential (for Educational Administration applicants only)
  9. GRE (for Clinical Mental Health Counseling applicants only)
  10. Faculty review of file and admission approval
  11. Interview with a faculty member (for Clinical Mental Health Counseling applicants only)
