Application Requirements

  1. Completed application
  2. Evidence of a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university
  3. Evidence of a 3.0 undergraduate GPA or an approved petition
  4. Evidence of initiation of CBEST and Certificate of Clearance (for Master of Arts in Education: School Counseling)
  5. One (1) official transcript issued by the Registrar of each institution from which you were granted a degree, sent directly to the School of Education
  6. Two (2) letters of recommendation from professionals who know your work
  7. 500 word essay describing personal experience and interests in relationship to the degree program
  8. Evidence of a California teacher credential or basic service credential (for Educational Administration applicants only)
  9. Faculty review of file and admission approval
  10. Interview with a faculty member (for Clinical Mental Health Counseling applicants only)
