Preparing Successful Educators for 85 Years

The School of Education has been training educators like you for 85 years—and we’ve earned a stellar reputation along the way. Here’s a few ways that the School of Education stands out:

  • Established and connected: Our longstanding relationships with area school districts mean that our students have access to excellent fieldwork and employment opportunities. Those opportunities extend far beyond Southern California, through our network of alumni working in schools, districts and agencies across the nation.
  • Relevant and practical: Our coursework balances educational theory and practice so that you gain skills that are applicable right away in the classroom or office. We incorporate emerging trends, such as spatial reasoning and GIS, into our programs.
