Anthony DiMartino, ‘11, came to Redlands to play football, but stayed because of the community atmosphere.
“I was welcomed and embraced here. I received lots of attention in class and had many opportunities to get involved.”
Through Student Employment, Anthony worked as a tutor and a mentor at the Boys & Girls Club, and got involved at Family Service Association and the animal shelter.
“My time here set the tone for me to be involved, and also taught me how to balance my life. Redlands taught me to be a better student, but even more important, a better person. I’ve applied a lot of things I have learned in the classroom outside of the classroom.”
The Student Employment Office administers the University of Redlands' work-study program and provides a central location for the allocation, placement and monitoring of all student employment, both on and off-campus.
Our mission: Provide the opportunity for students to learn outside the classroom and participate in meaningful part-time employment, on or off-campus. Students will gain “real world” experience in preparation for the job market and will develop relevant and transferrable skills in pursuit of future careers.
