The Haven at Redlands

Haven IconIntroducing The Haven at Redlands -- A unique residential community for University of Redlands students in recovery from substance use issues.

According to the Federal Government, one in four college students qualifies for a diagnosis of substance use disorder (SAMHSA) and college students are the fastest growing demographic entering rehab in the US. The good news is, college students are also a driving force behind America’s recovery community of over 23 million people nationwide. As a result, there has been a rapid increase in the growth of recovery programs on college campuses in the past two years.

The University of Redlands is pleased to announce the August 2014 launch of The Haven at Redlands, a residential community for U of R students in recovery from substance use issues or who simply desire a sober collegiate lifestyle. The Haven at Redlands is the second Haven on the West Coast joining The University of Southern California. The Haven admits students year-round.

In April 2010, it was designated a Tree Campus USA by the Arbor Day Foundation. Redlands is among just three other colleges or universities in California to receive this designation.
