ResNet Network Support (Students)

Residential Networking (ResNet) provides technical assistance to students of the University of Redlands, including its component colleges and schools, at no additional cost. The department is staffed by the ResNet Manager, and a team of student ResNet Computer Consultants.

Computer Information:

  • Every room is equipped with Internet capabilities
  • Lounges are wireless (WiFi)
  • PCs require ethernet 10/100 mbs cards to access the network
  • ResNet will be available to assist students with any computer and connection problems
  • ResNet Guides (3.0 MB PDF) This guide is¬†written to assist students with common problems observed by ResNet. These include:
    • Wireless connections (PC/Mac)
    • MOX (University of Redlands Mobile Access for smart phones)
    • Difficulties accessing the myRedlands portal
    • Access to University of Redlands email on mobile devices

There are more than 1,700 trees on the University of Redlands campus.

In April 2010, it was designated a Tree Campus USA by the Arbor Day Foundation. Redlands is among just three other colleges or universities in California to receive this designation.
