DESCRIPTION: The University of Redlands seeks a versatile, broadly trained artist to teach all levels of Painting, Drawing and 2D Design.
The position will be housed in the Art Department which is within the College of Arts and Sciences, a teaching-centered liberal arts college enrolling 2,500 students.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: M.F.A. required, a minimum of 3 years college teaching experience and strong exhibit record preferred. Successful candidates will have a broad contemporary approach to the field of art with a demonstrated passion for student learning and success. Ability to teach digital illustration a plus. The visitor will teach six courses/year (24 credits) within our undergraduate art programs. These diverse teaching responsibilities extend over a 9-month period each year. Salary commensurate with rank and experience.
