Elizabeth Meade, MSN, FNP-C
Elizabeth Meade, a certified family nurse practitioner, has worked in the medical profession since 2004. After graduating cum laude with an English degree from Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts, she earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing at the University of Virginia. She completed her MSN degree in nursing at Columbia University while working at Weill Cornell Medical Center in Manhattan. She has lived in California since 2008, and joined the University of Redlands Student Health Center in 2011. As an FNP, Elizabeth has extensive experience in primary care and has worked with patients of all ages. She is committed to developing proactive measures to promote wellness while helping students manage and improve their health.
Kim Haugh, RN
Kim Haugh grew up in the Inland Empire and graduated from San Bernardino Valley College in 1994 with an associate of science degree in nursing. Prior to entering college health, Kim was employed by Loma Linda University from 1997 to 2002 as a staff nurse in orthopedics, urology, and the Center for Joint Replacement. In 2002, Kim made the move to college health as a nurse for the University of California Riverside Campus Health Center. Kim joined the University of Redlands Student Health Center staff in 2005. She is responsible for triaging patients, coordinating referrals and providing patient education.
Patty Nowatnich, MA
Prior to joining the University of Redlands in 2002, Patty Nowatnick had 23 years of experience in OB/GYN and Family Practice. Patty schedules appointments and handles administrative duties in the front office. She also assists with immunizations, TB screening, pregnancy tests, wound care and vital signs. Patty was honored with the University of Redlands President’s Award in 2009 for exemplary employee service.
Sylvia Ellis, MA
Sylvia joined the University of Redlands Student Health Center in 2012. Her work includes taking vital signs, administering immunizations, dispensing medication, and assisting the medical provider. Prior to coming to the University of Redlands, Sylvia worked as a medical assistant at Beaver Medical Group Extended Care in Redlands.
