Recreation

On Campus
A wide variety of recreational opportunities are available at the University of Redlands. A multi-million dollar athletic facility houses an Olympic-size pool and state-of-the-art weight and exercise rooms. Outdoor basketball, sand volleyball and tennis courts are available to all groups. Several expansive lawns and open spaces throughout the campus are ideal for jogging or Frisbee-tossing. The weight and exercise rooms are available to adult groups, with special arrangements for youth groups; all conference attendees are welcome to use the pool. A minimal fee is required to use these facilities.

Off Campus
Local cultural attractions include the nationally-famous Lincoln Memorial Shrine and the Redlands Bowl Summer Festival, which provides free concerts on Tuesday and Friday evenings during July and August. Historic downtown Redlands, just two miles from campus, offers many shopping and eating choices.

There are more than 1,700 trees on the University of Redlands campus.
