Mike Maynard is the head football coach at the University of Redlands and is available to comment on offense and defense, recruiting, playoff systems and coaching.
The 2012 season will be his 25th year with the Bulldog football program. Under Maynard, the Bulldogs have posted a winning conference record every year and have won SCIAC Championships at a rate of every other year for the past 20 years.
His excellent coaching and service record has garnered him such honors as induction into the Bulldog Bench Intercollegiate Athletics Hall of Fame, the Frank J. Rice Memorial Award for Community Service and the All-American Football Foundation’s Johnny Vaught Head Coach Award. He was also voted his high school’s top athlete of all time.
Maynard earned a master’s degree in sports management from the U.S. Sports Academy and a bachelor’s degree in physical education from Illinois Wesleyan University.
