Diane Macunovich
Diane Macunovich
Professor of Economics
Diane Macunovich is a professor of economics at the University of Redlands who can comment on current economic conditions.
She is an expert in how economic growth and financial crises are affected by changing demographics, as well as the women’s labor supply and trends in the male retirement age in the United States.
Macunovich is the author of “Birth Quake: the Baby Boom and Its Aftershocks” and also has many articles published.
Prior to teaching at Redlands, Macunovich was an economic consultant here in the United States and abroad in the United Kingdom, Iran and Canada.
Macunovich has doctoral degree in economics from the University of Southern California, and a bachelor’s degree in humanities and science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
