FIE presents Womyn's Week, and invites you to come check out the activities planned.
Monday:
- Wonder Womyn!
11 a.m. -1 p.m.
Come by the Hunsaker Plaza during lunch, and learn about some amazing women that have shaped our history!
Tuesday:
- Interrogating Sexism
11 a.m.-1 p.m. Hunsaker Plaza
FIE will be having different activities during lunch, where you can learn how to fight against sexism.
- Women Talk: Conservative Feminists
7 p.m. Women's center in CDI
Join us for Women Talk to have a discussion on conservative feminists. After the talk, we will be playing a video which includes U of R students addressing questions about sexism. See the facebook event for additional details.
Wednesday:
- Demystifying Womyn’s Health
11 a.m.-1 p.m. Hunsaker Plaza
During lunch come uncover some myths surrounding women's health including contraceptives, sex, and other noteworthy topics. We will also have a pregnancy suit!
- Jane Roberts
7 p.m. Casa Loma Room
Come celebrate International Women's Day and Women's History month with Redlands' own Jane Roberts, co-founder of 34 Million Friends of the United Nations Population. See the facebook event for further information.
Thursday:
- Jane Doe: The Survivor Stories of Sex Workers
11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Look out for a visual demonstration put on by the women and men of FIE concerning survivor stories of sex workers. See the Facebook event for additional information.
- Kemala Kempadoo- Keynote speaker for the WGST Conference
